How long do minting and redemption take, and what do they cost?

What do I receive when I redeem?
When you deposit tokens to Backpack Exchange, they are burned and the same number of shares is credited to your Backpack Exchange account. You hold them as security entitlements under Article 8 of the New York Uniform Commercial Code.
Can I transfer shares to or from another brokerage?
Yes, you can transfer shares in from another U.S. brokerage through the Depository Trust Company (DTC). Transfers out to other brokerages are currently in private access.
How are dividends, splits, and other corporate actions handled?
Cash dividends are reinvested automatically as additional tokens. Splits and other corporate actions are reflected by adjusting token balances.
