apxUSD is a synthetic stablecoin designed to bring liquidity to both decentralized and centralized finance ecosystems by being backed with over 100% collateral in preferred equity from Digital Asset Treasuries (DATs). These DATs are publicly-listed entities that integrate digital assets into their balance sheets and issue preferred shares, generating monthly cash dividends. The innovative model converts these off-chain dividend flows into on-chain yield, allowing apxUSD to maintain stability without directly paying yield. Its counterpart, apyUSD, operates as an ERC-4626 vault, enabling users to lock apxUSD for enhanced returns as dividends increase the value of apyUSD relative to apxUSD over time. The Apyx protocol ensures robust risk management through daily NAV reporting, automatic rebalancing based on issuer concentration and liquidity thresholds, and comprehensive stress testing for various market scenarios.
